The facility’s consultant, attorney, or practice advisor retains responsibility for that advisor’s licensing, application, exemption, and administrative work. MFMD is responsible for an accepted Medical Director engagement, including the defined clinical-governance scope, provider-role mapping, protocols, documented review, escalation, and corrective-action follow-up.

No. MFMD provides physician governance. Licensing, application preparation, exemption analysis, and legal advice remain with the facility’s qualified advisors.

The participating facility enters a separate agreement with MFMD for the accepted physician-governance services and scope.
Can MFMD coordinate with our existing advisor?
Yes. With the facility’s authorization, MFMD can coordinate the clinical-governance inputs needed for the facility’s setup while keeping each party’s responsibilities distinct.
Is every referred facility accepted?
No. MFMD reviews the location, services, licensed team, operating structure, and physician availability before accepting a relationship.
