Popularity does not make peptide products interchangeable. BPC-157, CJC-1295, ipamorelin, TB-500-related products, MOTS-C, KPV, Semax and other commonly marketed substances can have different evidence, safety, formulation, and federal compounding considerations. FDA evaluates bulk substances individually and continues to publish substance-specific safety information and advisory-committee materials — so review each product before offering it.

How should an owner approach adding a named peptide?
Before adding any named substance, confirm the exact substance and formulation, review current evidence and safety information, verify the pharmacy/source, confirm the current compounding pathway with appropriate pharmacy/legal expertise, and define patient evaluation, prescriber responsibility, monitoring, escalation, and marketing claims.
Tone rule
Don’t tell owners “all of these are illegal,” and don’t tell owners “if a pharmacy sells it, it’s automatically fine.” The current status and clinical considerations should be checked product by product — and re-checked over time, because the federal framework evolves.
Owner takeaway
A peptide menu should be built one reviewed service line at a time. Confirm the current status of any specific substance with appropriate pharmacy and legal expertise before offering it.
